Six processes, all under our own roof

Most quality problems in a leather patch happen where one process hands over to the next. Keeping cutting, forming, colouring and stitching inside one plant is what lets us fix things on the spot.

Six in-house processes

Pressing, laser, hot press, injection, screen printing and sewing — combined as each product requires.

Die cutting
Knife-mould punching for a consistent edge across a run — the workhorse for standard patch shapes.
Laser
Fine contour cutting, cut-outs and marking — suited to complex outlines and smaller runs.
Hot press
Heat and pressure for forming and embossing, with temperature, pressure and dwell time controlled in three stages.
Injection
Moulding of soft and rigid plastic components for composite patch constructions.
Screen printing
Local colour and graphic printing directly onto the leather face, matched to a colour card.
Sewing
Appliqué, stitching and reinforcement — where raised lettering and multi-layer builds come together.
From artwork to finished patch
01
Design & sampling
Confirm artwork, material and construction; develop the flat layout and relief.
02
Material sourcing
Select leather and hardware against the approved sample; confirm batch swatch and colour standard.
03
CNC precision mould
Mould accuracy drives edge cleanliness and batch-to-batch consistency.
04
Machining
Forming under controlled temperature, pressure and dwell time.
05
Hand finishing
Trimming, edge painting and thread clean-up — the step no machine does properly.
06
Inspection
From incoming checks to a full final inspection, judged on both colour and size standards.

Hot pressing

Hot pressing

Heat and dwell time together decide how sharp the embossing is and how the leather face holds up.

Sewing & appliqué

Sewing & appliqué

Stitching and reinforcement for raised lettering, appliqué and multi-layer builds.

Laser cutting

Laser cutting

Complex outlines, cut-outs and fine marking — practical even at small volumes.

Injection moulding

Injection moulding

Soft and rigid plastic parts for composite constructions, combined with leather as one piece.

Artwork, a physical sample, or just an idea — any of the three is a fine place to start.
