Craft
The face is cleaned before foiling, and the temperature and pressure are set from a trial run on that batch so the foil neither burns through nor blurs. Edges are hand-painted to keep white trim from yellowing.
Construction & use
Mainly a single layer of white cowhide with a reinforcement on the reverse matched to your sewing method. Used on tailored and casual trouser waists, and on shirt plackets and bags.
Customisation & sampling
Foil is available in gold, silver, rose gold and more; lettering is set from your vector file or a licensed typeface.
